Location
The surface is situated inside the Brasov Metropolitan Area, on the National Route 1 (DN 1 – European Route 68), near Vladeni – on Brasov to Sibiu route.
The main entrance in the area is from DN1 (permit already secured); there is also a secondary entrance situated at 50 m from DN1, on a secondary road.
The site has direct access to the future A3 highway (Transylvania Bechtel project – in course of construction).
The land is situated at only 20 km from the future international airport Ghimbav – Brasov (when completed).
Other important distances are: 100 km from Sibiu, 198 km from Bucharest.
The project’s GPS coordinates are in the system used by Garmin GPS N45 46.192 E25 20.121 and in the system used by IGO GPS N 45.76959 and E 25.33454.
To reach the site: going from Brasov to Sibiu on NR1, one has to past Ghimbav, Codlea and Vladeni. At about 3 km after Vladeni the road goes to left, in an angle of almost 90 degrees. Here there can be spotted few ventilating valves of the main Transgaz pipes in the area. From the milestone (198 + 200 m) up to km 198 + 400 streches the side of the park with access at DN1.
